Dating back to my childhood in Chicago, IL, I have always been behind a camera.
Starting with a Flip Video given to me at Christmas, I’ve recorded the world and became interested in telling other’s stories. From there, I graduated from covering sports in college and became the leader of my school’s live-streaming network, where I was able to cover the stories on and off the field and work alongside my classmates to create the best sports viewing experience for our small D3 school.
That passion for storytelling led me to start a video production company after graduation with a few close colleagues and move to Denver, CO. At Fourth Wall Productions, I learned the nuts and bolts of video production and how to become a jack of all trades, filling a whatever necessary role on a project.
That versatility paid off when Fourth Wall was acquired by GroundFloor Media and CenterTable. At GFM and CT, I was thrown into the world of integrated marketing and became a master at learning how to tell a story for all platforms, whether it’s a short Instagram ad or a long-form conversation. We experimented with all types of ways to get our client’s stories to their audience from social media campaigns to live productions.
After CenterTable, I took my talents home to Chicago, where I spent over two years building Studio Sage’s production capabilities. At Sage, I helped design and execute workflows for on-site and virtual livestreams for companies such as Google, Square, Intuit, and Hubspot as a producer and technical director. While at Sage, I also established processes for media asset and equipment management that are now standard practice for the studio.
Now, I am taking my 10+ years of industry knowledge to help clients tell the stories their audiences need to hear whether that be through episodic storytelling or coordinated live productions. I’m looking forward to collaborating with you.
